Q1) Why should I compress my pictures?

The file size of the pictures generated by today’s digital cameras can be large. This is good for picture quality and for developing but not good when you are trying to share them with friends and family via e-mail or a photo sharing website such as Flickr. The large file size of the pictures limits how many you can e-mail and/or add to the file sharing site. Larger pictures also take longer for your recipients to download when they try to view them.

Compressing your pictures before you share them lets you share more pictures at once and reduces the time for your recipient to download them for viewing.

Q2) How do I purchase and download Mini-Compressor?

You can purchase Mini-Compressor by clicking on the Buy Now button on the Mini-Compressor page. You will be re-directed to a Paypal website where you enter your financial information. You do not need a Paypal account to purchase Mini-Compressor, just a credit card. Once the transaction is complete click the “Return to Saturday Morning Productions” button to download Mini-Compressor.

An e-mail is also sent to you containing your receipt and a download link to download Mini-Compressor in case the “Return to Saturday Morning Productions” button isn’t clicked. You can re-download Mini-Compressor at anytime in the future by going to the Downloads page and following the instructions.

Q3) Is there a trial version of Mini-Compressor?

There is no trial version Mini-Compressor. Chris and Ada, the founders of Saturday Morning Productions, don’t want anything, such as registration keys or on-line activation, to prevent you from using Mini-Compressor now or in the future. Not being able to use software you purchased because you misplaced the license key is extremely frustrating and we speak from personal experience.

So go ahead and give Mini-Compressor a try for 30 days and if you are not satisfied then you will get a full refund, no questions asked.

Q4) I bought Mini-Compressor but I'm not super-duper happy with it. How do I get my money back?

We are sorry you are not super-duper happy with your purchase. If you purchased Mini-Compressor less than 30 days ago then send an e-mail to support@saturdaymp.com using the e-mail address you purchased Mini-Compressor and your receipt number and we will refund you promptly. If you don't have access to your e-mail or receipt number then please e-mail us anyway and we will figure something out.

If you purchased Mini-Compressor more than 30 days ago then we can't guarantee a refund. Please send us an e-mail anyway and we will see what we can do.

Q5) Can I re-download Mini-Compressor at a later date?

After you have purchased Mini-Compressor you can re-download it at anytime by going to the Downloads page and follow the instructions.

Q6) Do I need a Paypal Account to Purchase Mini-Compressor?

Q9) What are the system requirements for Mini-Compressor?

Mini-Compressor can be installed on any computer running Windows XP or Windows Vista. Microsoft .NET 3.5 is also required but is installed by the Mini-Compressor Setup program if it's missing.

Q10) Does Mini-Compressor contain any Digital Rights Management (DRM)?

Mini-Compressor is 100% DRM free.
